Help & Frequently Asked Questions
What is QuReDec?
QuReDec™ (Question. Report. Decide.) is an evidence-backed decision support tool. You ask a decision question, and it researches web, academic, and video sources to produce a structured Executive Decision Brief with cited references.
How long does a brief take?
Most briefs complete in under a minute. Complex topics with extensive research may take two to three minutes. Progress updates in real time while the research pipeline runs.
What sources does QuReDec use?
We search across web articles (via Brave Search), academic papers (Semantic Scholar, arXiv, Crossref), YouTube expert content, and community discussions (HackerNews, Reddit). All sources are cited with URLs.
How is this different from general-purpose AI chatbots?
General-purpose chatbots can sometimes cite sources that don't exist — wrong authors, wrong year, or titles that almost-but-don't-quite match a real paper. QuReDec pulls from actual research databases (Semantic Scholar, Crossref, arXiv, Brave Search, HackerNews, YouTube), and every citation links to the real source. The Decision Coach also tightens your question before research runs, so you don't get an answer to the wrong question.
Can I export my briefs?
Yes. Every brief can be exported as a professional PDF document with the full Executive Summary, cited references, confidence score, risks, and recommended next steps.
What happens when I run out of credits?
You can purchase additional briefs at $1.99 each, or upgrade to Professional ($49/month) for 30 briefs with deeper analysis.
When do my Professional credits refresh?
Every 30 days from your subscription start. If you subscribe on the 15th, your next 30 briefs become available on the 15th of the next month — not on the 1st. Unused credits don't roll over.
Can I get a refund?
Unused Starter Packs can be refunded within 7 days. Professional subscriptions have a 7-day money-back guarantee from the start of your first billing period. See our Terms of Service for details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your Account page and click "Manage Subscription" to access the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel anytime.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your decision questions and briefs are private to your account. We don't sell or share your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion from your Account page or by emailing [email protected]. Your personal data, questions, and briefs are deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Payment records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
Can my teenager use QuReDec?
QuReDec is an adult-oriented tool; our Terms of Service require users to be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR Article 8). If you're a parent or legal guardian and believe a minor has accessed the Service, contact [email protected] and we'll remove the account and associated data.
